A typical club night consists of:
Prepared speeches
Four to five members present short speeches on a topic of their choice.
Table topics
Members are invited to make a 1-2 minute speech on a subject given to them.
Refreshments
We always break for refreshments and networking.
Evaluations
All prepared and impromptu speeches are evaluated; feedback is positive focussing on recommendations.
Prizes
A token prize is awarded to the best speakers and evaluator of the evening.
Speaking contests
In addition to club nights we also host regular speaking contests: After Dinner Speech, Humorous Speech, International Speech and Tall Tales.
